I spent a few beautiful weeks in the Algarve at the end of 2024. I traveled the entire southern and southwestern coast. Also the southeastern border with Spain. I tried to get to know the local people, customs, nature... I like the local market, the local simple food, fish. Until mid-December, I was swimming regularly and beautifully. I lived in different places, always for a few days. For all this, the accommodation at Pestana Alvor Atlantico Residences Beach Suites offered me ideal conditions: communication with the staff, equipment, peace, accessibility, parking space. Location was superb near to beach and swimming pool and shop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was a good size and the view was amazing. The flat was clean. Local Portuguese people were very welcoming. The pool and poolside was very clean.

Karolina (at the reception) and the young lady that checked me in, they both are amazing! Incredibly friendly and helpful. Karolina helped me with my late check out. I really appreciate her support and understanding, as the next place I was staying in after didn’t want to do an early check in. Loved the location, 5 seconds from the beach, and the view from my room on the rocks and ocean, couldn’t possibly dream to get a better view.

1 minute to the Beach. Friendly staff. Even garden view is very senic, at least from the 9th floor :) Spacious room and balcony. Despite of the unappealing outside look of the building quite nice inside. Kitchenette equiped sufficiently for simple meals and well equipped for breakfast. Filter coffee machine, toaster, 2 stove tops, fridge. Nice extra: Sauna and steam bath in the ground floor(not exactly a spa,fitting only 2-3 people each, but enough to nicely heat up). Pool towel service. Salt water outdoor and also an indoor pool - nothing too fancy, but nicevto have. Easy Parking, 3 minute drive to harbour/city center. Or a bit longer walk along the promenade.

The location was just ideal Quiet and in a great position to catch sunrise and sunset, all from the same room. The staff were superb as nothing was too much trouble. Made to feel welcome from the get go. The views were stunning and the sound of ocean so relaxing.

Very friendly reception - very clean room, nice location. There is an indoor swimming pool, but the proximity to the beach means it wasn't used. Nice area (if a little small) to prepare meals. Room service very efficient and pleasant. A really nice place that made us feel welcome.

Excellent staff. Spotlessly clean. A room was provided for me on my day of departure to relax and shower as I wasn't being collected for the airport until 7pm. 24 hr reception which was very good
